Harris B. Davis, Jr, MAI, SRA (Ben) has over twenty years of experience in the real estate industry in commercial and residential valuation. As the founder and owner of The Carolina Appraisal Group, Inc. since 1999, Ben is the lead contact for appraisal services for all property types. Ben’s extensive experience ranges from subdivisions, vacant land and single-family properties residentially and from office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, industrial, multi-family and special purpose properties commercially. Ben attended the University of South Carolina earning a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Finance in 1989. He is a Certified General Appraiser (2002) in South Carolina and earned the MAI (2015) and the SRA (2009) designation with the Appraisal Institute.

Duey R. Acton began an appraisal career in 1992 in Columbia, South Carolina. After ten years, he relocated to Simpsonville, South Carolina, and established D. R. Acton Advisors, LLC. Duey became a member of The Carolina Appraisal Group commercial team in 2018. One of his primary specialties is eminent domain appraisals, expert testimony, mediations, and related evaluations which includes a qualified expert in some Courts of Common Pleas. Duey attended the University of South Carolina earning a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He earned Certified General Appraisal License in 1996 and is an associate member of the Appraisal Institute.
